We are located just outside of Claremont on Rte 103, near the bottom of Dump Hill.

There has been substantial growth in the #grownnotflown movement. In addition to not adding to the environmental problems related to shipping flowers, the flowers you buy are grown with as many organic practices as possible, supporting pollinators. Your flowers will also last much longer since they are freshly cut from the plant right before sale, not a week before. You can also feel good about supporting local agriculture. 100% of your flowers are grown right here!

Products

Flowers - I specialize in offering varieties you rarely see around town or even throughout the region. I grow varieties that will have good vase life and are trending colors, using pollinator friendly techniques.

Garlic - I love garlic and always plant too much. This year I am offering a hardneck Garlic Subscription. It will also be on sale in the Flower Shed late July.

U-Pick Vegetable Garden - This is the family garden that I open up to everyone wanting to come pick their own vegetables. This year there will be kale, string beans, beefsteak and cherry tomatoes and eggplant. I am trying a couple of different carrot varieties so fingers crossed there! Fill a small basket for $8.00.

Activities

Farmer’s Markets - You will see Josephine and me at the Newport Farmer’s Market on Fridays. Starting July 26 I will also be selling at the Lebanon Farmer’s Market.

U-Pick - The U-Pick flower beds open about mid to late July through frost. I am always on hand to guide you if wanted, my goal is for you to enjoy the experience and come away with a gorgeous bouquet. U-Pick hours are Saturdays only starting mid-July 9:00 - 4:00.

The U-Pick vegetable garden - This is earlier, for spring vegetables like kale. Follow us on Facebook or sign up for the newsletter for updates. U-Pick Vegetable hours are also 9:00 - 4:00 on Saturdays.

The Flower Shed - The Flower Shed is the first to open in Spring with Tulips and early summer flowers, precut for your convenience. You can also purchase Modgy vases or an arrangement in a vase here. The Shed will be open for business Thursdays through Fridays 10:00 - 1:00 and Saturdays 10:00 - 4:00.

Josephine the Mobile Bouquet Bar - Josephine will be available for hire beginning mid to late July. Contact me for details.

We are closed on Sundays.

My Approach

Just putting this out there - I despise formula bouquets. I build bouquets individually and all are a little different. I try to build them based on customer preference. Some folks love scent, others not so much. My goal is to make YOU happy with your purchase, not just grind out a one size fits all experience.

Every year is different and 2024 will bring some AMAZING zinnia and sunflower varieties I have not been able to get because they sell out so quickly. The Queen Limes and pinstripe zinnias will be back - because they are fabulous! Of course I’ll have snapdragons, daisies, gomphrena, cosmos, clarkia, delphinium, amaranth and lilies of all types. I will also be offering some of the MOST exquisite dahlias I have EVER seen. If you would like to come cut your own bouquets as a subscriber I am absolutely okay with that as long as it is during the u-pick hours.

Free drop-off delivery in Claremont, Newport, Cornish (up to the bridge) and Windsor, VT Mondays through Fridays.. Pick-ups Thursdays through Sundays and by appointment. Orders are picked up in the Flower Shed.
